Job Opening – Meeting/Membership Coordinator

Meeting/Membership Coordinator: This full-time position will work with the staff and clients of our Association Management Company. The employee will be responsible for assisting with meeting planning and promotion, registration processing, on-site staffing of meetings, newsletter coordination, membership contact including listserv and website updates, and database management (including data entry). Occasional overnight travel is required.
Qualifications: The person in this position must exhibit exemplary time management skills and exude a high level of accuracy and competency at all times. Individuals should be motivated, self-starting people, who are well organized, detail oriented, timely and accountable.
A high school diploma and a combination of four years of work experience/post-secondary education are required with a strong emphasis placed on customer service. Candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Office, social media sites, and be able to master various web-based management tools, including website updating using HTML type editor programs. Familiarity with FileMaker Pro software and operating in an Apple/Macintosh computer environment is a plus.
